Could you be a Thrive Trainer?

Thrive Trainers work with teaching staff, SENDCos, school leaders, social care and health staff to train them in applying the Thrive Approach in their setting. Thrive is a specific way of working with children and young people that supports emotional well-being and has consistently shown a positive impact on attainment. It is already used in over 3,000 settings across the UK and we are always looking for more trainers to supply the demand for courses.
Becoming a Thrive Trainer is as demanding as it is rewarding and there are several possible routes depending on your experience and skills.
Take this quick self-assessment and discover the best route for you. Once you’ve done the assessment, hear from one of our experienced trainers about what being a Thrive Trainer means to her and follow the links for the course that best meets your circumstances.

About Thrive
Being a Trainer

Making Thrive work for you

Training to be a Thrive trainer is a demanding course whichever route you take. It’s important you take the self-assessment (above) before making any decisions and feel free to call us for advice at any time.
Once you’ve made your decision to join us, there are a number of ways you can make it work for you.

You can run open courses on our behalf and we will pay you to run the course. You will need to be flexible on locations and dates.

If you can find a group to provide training to yourself, you pay us a licence fee but keep all of your income from your delegates. You are in control of the dates and locations.

If you are a school wanting to fund a trainer (see information on finance for schools and our packages) as long as you run one Thrive Licensed Practitioner® course a year, you can generate income for your school, MAT or cluster by running open courses in your area.

However you finance the training, you can recoup your investment once you’ve run two 10-day courses yourself.
